First of all you need the store discount card, to present to get the advertised price, then there are conditions like 10/ $10, must by 10.

Then paper store coupons to clip out, and digital coupons to download.

Something always fucks up and it's often the fault of the store, so the person in front of you complains about a price, and a supervisor has to override it.

Or just get ripped off !

It gets ridiculous, I was at ShopRite today, this young female cashier that never stops talking, but is bangable, cards this old lady for a 6 pack, she was obviously at least 60...of course a few minutes for her to find her ID.

I never get carded there if I go to an old cashier, rarely buy there

It's like worse than going to my dentist...Dr. Payne, DDS.

I ain't going anywhere near a store on Black Friday, at most a filling station.

I hate stores like that. Lucky for me we have Wincos in Reno. They are cheaper than walmart, pay their employees a living wage which is even higher than the union store pay. Everyone has a great attitude that works there, no club card coupon bs. They for sure had men in mind when they made their business plan. Place is busier than walmart but always clean and in stock.

Women that are like 22 have a tendency to look better than those that are like 52, even if they talk too much.

She's actually cool just a little overzealous in her new job as evidenced by carding the old lady buying beer, definitely the chatty type.

I prefer the way Walmart does it...

No store card, or store issued paper coupons or digital coupons, or buy so many to get the price .

I don't like playing games going fucking grocery shopping.

Digital coupons are also a bad idea in my area as there are a lot of seniors that don't know what a digital coupon is, or even how to use the internet well or at all.

I never heard of WinCo's, but I liked Reno , the few times I was there.

The Great small City on Earth, other something like that !?

A tad wintry for my tastes, but I would live there !

I moved here from Mammoth Lakes which is one of the most wintery places in mainland America, so I like the mountains and snow. I was trying to figure out how WinCo pays their employees 20+ an hour and still be cheaper than Walmart. Found out they are privately traded and employee owned, pretty smart business plan.

WinCo sounds like Publix. They do bogos but jack up the price.
Win Dixie is like the place described in the op. Their new thing is buy 2 get 1 free. Produce is terrible. At least they got self check out.

CalNeva is still there but it is owned outright by WilliamHill. They own the whole casino it's their home base. The place is still ran the same with cheap beer and cheap food. It's been a while since I've been there as I hang out at the Peppermill, but last time I was there the beers were a buck, and they still did the the tokes.

I hate that BOGO stuff or buy, 1 get 2 free, or variations of it, where you can't tell how much the first freaking one is.

I shouldn't have to jump through hoops and clip paper coupons and download digital coupons... it ain't 1980 anymore, just set a price and that's it, nobody wants to go thru this crap, and the feeling of paying more than necessary sucks too !

ShopRite Corral's shoppers in on Tuesdays with a senior discount that they will take from anybody, so clog up the store one day a week, it's ridicurous !

I hate those too. at Winco it's just the price and they dont do coupons, and it's usually cheaper than BOGOS. The only thing that is expensive there is stuff like Soda

I'm sure they Accept manufacturers coupons, they just don't force their own on you !

Just give me the straight price, and I'm quite sure the people in my town would prefer it that way !

My place may as well be in Canada, haven't locked my doors in years !

Your lucky she didnt have to write out a check and balance her ledger too. I was at Costco today and it was hard finding a parking spot anywhere and their lots are huge.

Convenient stores same way with pricing. You just want one Gatorade and it’s something like 2 for $3.50 but if you only buy just one it’s something like $1.89. They got us all by the balls.

That’s very ironic. I took my 94 year old grandma grocery shopping at shop rite today lol. Went through the self check out and forgot to have the employee monitoring to put in the 5% senior discount. Sure enough went back and got my $4 lol. It was my fault this time though.

Convince stores are a different animal, I worked at one briefly have seen the invoices, the merchandise that comes in the door is almost always at a higher cost than Walmart retail, but they beat Walmart pricewise on things like milk and cigs.

It's a well established American thing ( the conveince store ), where people will pay $2 for one roll of toilet paper instead of buying 20 rolls for $9 at a real store.

Many owned by people from India and family operated, it's a great business with many ways to cheat and profit...and I know what they are !

People will pay virtually everyany price for a can of catfood or some stupid shit instead of buying a case of it at the grocery store. They are
already there for gas and cigs and will buy other shit where the price is much higher out of necessity.

I stockpile non-perishable items like toilet and towel paper when on sale.

I used to work with this lady that had the philosophy of , I don't need it, but I can't afford to not buy it at that price ! I would have pursued her but she lives in a double wide trailer and has like 8 cats, I like cats well enough
but not every fucking where

When my last cat died, I buried her, and was also happy to get rid of the litter box, no more animals for me !

A cat can live 20 years, I probably don't have 20 years left ? I don't want the cat to starve to death if I drop dead and my body is found weeks later

Stupid policy and not the fact at ShopRite.

I can see carding those that look under 40 perhaps, but if obviously over 60 it becomes ridicurous
