You would think these same people would see all the health risks associated with this virus. Why isn't suicides, depression , addictions , etc count in this equation ? No models for that ? .

They had this covid “survivor” on in Ohio this afternoon on our daily briefing from Gov Dewine. First he tells us what new sporty tie he’s wearing, then goes in to other minuscule topics and brings this lady on, that was “steps” from death.

She looked to be at least 50lbs or more overweight and older. They focused on her 2 weeks in the hospital and not being able to walk 4 weeks out of the hospital unless she uses a walker.

Not one mention of a preexisting condition or her overall health in general. They portrayed it like everyone that gets this is destined to teat fate. So damn annoying.

There are lots of models for all that stuff is accounted for. Everything shows that any health problems from this pandemic are extremely small. The Liberals pushing all the doom and gloom scenarios are just trying to make the rest of us scared. There is nothing to be scared about from anything related to the coronavirus.

The economic shutdown has cost millions of people their jobs , careers , and businesses.. This will cause death and health catastrophes in itself.. I'm interested in seeing these models from the same experts.

I agree. But this particular event won’t cause someone to turn to addiction or suicide. That is already in them, this event just brought it to surface.

Anyone who loses their job can always go work at another job. That was true before the pandemic and it is true now. The only people who disagree with that are lazy Liberals who don't want a job. How do you know all of this ? Millions of people aren't working. Millions of people don't know what the future holds . Or if jobs will even be available to them . We're dealing with human beings here. To think this is just a. " lazy " issue is just a complete stupid way of looking at things..

No reason why we're just seeing potential death models from catching the virus , and not the health aspects with a economic disaster.. 36 million people filing for unemployment in 6 weeks isn't fucking normal. Cities shutting down isn't normal..

cancer screenings down 90% these last few months compared to previous years so expect to see a large uptick in cancer deaths because accelerated colon/prostate/breast cancer won't be seen for many months later than they'd have normally found it

cholesterol panels are down 70% so you'll also see an uptick in heart disease

early detection of cancer and heart disease needs to take a break because old people are dying from a bad flu
