yeah go look that up.. Because irrelevant crap like this has anything to do with the actual game played.

while you at it, look up 0-7 teams playing the week before a presidential elections, with a woman and a black guy on the ticket.

That angle will give you the sure fire winner.:ohno:

Looks like you read what you only want to read. It is amazing how you block out the part where I said that I'm not betting on this game because the two teams are way below average. Furthermore, 1-5 ATS or 0-5 ATS is a very small sample size. There is not much you can do with that.

I LOVE how you look at the points, LOOK AT THE YARDS, and YPP...JESUS CHRIST. I don't give a F*CK how many pts they gave up due to special teams, turnovers, etc., etc., you just pointed out to me how BAD a capper you are. You want to talk points? How's about SDST. giving up 70, that's right 70 points to New Mexico. Look a little deeper before you open your trap. SDST Defense is giving up more than 100 YARDS PER GAME than WYOMING, acutally around 130 or so. Let's see, against AF, SDST gave up about 250 more yards than Wyoming. Against TCU, SDST gave up around 200 more than Wyoming. Against NM, SDST gave up around another 200 yards more than Wyoming. You just talked me into it, I'm actually going to play Wyoming now for a unit. Shit by the law of averages or so, Wyoming should gain around 130-200 more yards than SDST which would equal more than 5 points I would think, and they're at home.

One more thing, I said they have a decent D, COMPARED TO SDST. I wasn't just saying their D is average, it's horrendous, but compared to SDST, they're F*CKING AWESOME. Read next time.

you should care about how many defensive and special teams scores a team gives up. that's 2/3 of the team right there. if you have an incompetent QB who throws interceptions or fumbles a lot (see JT O'Sullivan for the Niners), it doesnt matter how many yards you can roll up on a team.

Against AF, SDSU had their horrible backup QB in the game who did nothing but go 3 and out and keep the SDSU defense on the field the entire game. But I'm sure you knew that.

How can you lay a lot of points with a team that could only beat freakin North Dakota St by 3 points...a game Wyoming was losing 13-0 in the 2nd half before making a big comeback?!

How can you lay a lot of points with a team that avgs 7ppg their last 5 division 1A games. Was it just that they played a lot of really great defenses?

Feel free to wager on a team that barely scores, that gives up a lot of points and hasnt covered in their past 12 games....i'm sure they have to cover eventually.

I am not saying this guy has the correct or wrong side. The difference between him and you is that he is focussing on the actual game while you are wasting time on bullshit stats that are about as relevant as picking team colors!

Historical ats stats are nothing but complete bullshit! that is the crutch of the lazy handicapper..Either to lazy or too dumb to look at and compare actual stat sheets.

Say what you may about sample size this and that, fact remains, ats trends are for people too dumb to read stat sheets or even understand the game they are capping.

I don't think anybody looks at EXACTLY one thing to handicap a game. Otherwise, that is not handicapping. That is plug and chug.

no one here advised you to look at one thing. And just so you know, any capper worth his salt can see the reasons for a particular team's ats performance by reading stat sheets and game reports or watching game tape!

i guarantee you for every single trend you can find, some one can come up with an opposing ats trend.

Case and point, last week, pennstate was 8-0 ats, but pennstate was 0-8 playing at OSU.

We're not smarter than you, I actually believe it was better to lay off this game, but since this thread was brought up and I actually got a chance to look into it more and I just noticed the disparity between both defenses...Wyoming is still HORRIBLE, just that SDST D is that bad.
