Please don't take this the wrong way as it is certainly not meant to be an affront in any way...

However, out of curiosity are you trying to imply with this thread and topic that ONLY the opinions of individuals who post alot of messages ( over the 1000 minimun ) should be considered?

Or that ONLY the individuals who have accumulated alot of posts know what they are talking about and hence those are the only opinions of value?

I certainly hope not as more than a few threads on this forum and others are started by and answered by, individuals whose intelligence and ability to handicap games with some sort of rhyme or reason has to come into question.

As I stated above, please do not take this as an affront in any way as it is not meant to be that way, however, it tends to bother me personally ( as it probably also bothers others ) when someone implies that someone else doesn't know what they are talking about or that their opinion is of no value simply based on the total number of posts someone has made or not made.

In my humble opinion quality is much better than quanity....

Hello X-Files...

For the record, I personally am not on San Diego or either of the Saturday wildcard games as I feel true value is lacking in both contests.

This time of the year all playoff teams have injury concerns that must be factored in and in the case of the Jets QB Chad Penningon has issues with his rotator not fully healed which has affected this throwing, another consideration is that one of Penningtons favorite targets is WR Wayne Chrebet and although Chrebet is scheduled to play remember that he is coming back from a concussion and any hit may put him back on the sidelnes, also although Jet DE John Abraham will play it will be in a limited way.

The Jet injuries are partly the reason the line is inflated but consider that the Bolts are limited as well with WR's Tim Dwight and Keenan McCardell listed as questionable, the San Diego area has recieved ALOT of rain and it must be remembered that the Bolts have a grass field, the weather forecast for the game itself is more rain with high winds.

I personally am going to stay away from the game itself, however, with this being a first round playoff game and when considering the injuries and weather for the game, a play on the UNDER may be warranted, however, some value has been lost in that regard as the opening O/U was 44.5 and has now been bet down to 42.

The consensus of sharps here seem to be on SD. Is that something
to follow or be wary of? I remember a time in CBB when consensus
picks on the Rx were very profitable.

Do you think the squares might be on NY since they beat SD
early in the regular season?

NY is a much bigger city than SD, so NY has more gamblers & $,
so might many more homer's dollars be on NY?

Like all these visiting teams cause the home mainly cause the home team clapping fans will annoy my dogs and they will bark rather loudly be winning the game outright.
