got my seat on Sunday through bodog. i cant believe there isnt a bigger buzz going on about the huge overlays on bodog's WSOP seats. There was a $250 buy-in on Sunday that had 18 players. 18*250= 4500 that is an $8000 overlay!!!!! 64% of the total pot. amazing.

did you already get registered for the event? Did you receive confirmation of your Day 1 starting date? How long until you were credited for the $2500 travel allowance?

Thanks,
nutwheel

Holy crap. I was just about to start a thread asking who had big overlays on gauranteed pots. Good info. I want to start playing again. Took a big break.

Bodog is my favorite place to play. It used to be Prima, but the community is too big now. I dont like playing in those humungous fields. Too many shot takers. I still think Prima has the best software around though.

will most likely be playing as well.

I'm flying in July 24th, probably staying at Gold Coast.

Tuesday July 25th-WSOP NLH $1500
Wednesday July 26th-Bellagio Cup $1k
Thursday July 27th-Bellagio Cup $1k
Friday July 28th-Main Event or Bellagio Cup $1k
Saturday July 29th-Same
Sunday July 30th-Same
Monday July 31st-Same
Tuesday August 1st- My scheduled flight leaves and my best estimate is so do I.

I am currently speaking to potential backers for the main event, so not sure how much I'm going to come up with, but I may try some sats anyway, maybe the Rx wants to back me. ha. gl to all

Come on Matt, get in on a sat. You dont want to be backed for it. I mean it'd be good. It'd feel better and you'll play better if you get there on your own.

Damn it. 0 for 1 so far.

top 3 go to the semi that has a 135 buy in

I'm in 3rd at final table with 9500. 4th has only 5000 or so.

Guy preraises and raises after the flop even though its 2-6-10 no flush or str8 at play. Flop comes I have a pair, chased and got the 2 pair on turn. I know he has to have a set cuz he keeps pushing it. Well you know what happens next we end up all in, and I bust out he had the trips just like I thought.

So hard to lay down A-10 2 pair. But I need to trust my instincts. It sucks cuz I probably could have auto folded to pick up a seat into the semi's that only has like 25 players playing for a seat to the WSOP.

8th out of 32. 1st tourney back. not bad after taking a year or so off.

GL to those you who are going to the World Series. I will be there as well, I qualified through Party Poker and I requested the last starting date which is July 31st. I am waiting for my final confirmation which should be coming anyday.

Thats what i cant figure out about all these sites sending all these players , yea they will get some pub after wards if their guy wins but the WSOP has already clearly stated there will be NO ONLINE POKER APPAREL allowed at any table at any point ......none zip zero.<!-- / message -->

About how many players show up for the $135 semis? I, like Rob Funk have started playing again after a long hiatus. Finished second in my second $27 quaterfinal and have $108T. Thinking of using that and paying for the rest to one of the $135's.

i have been monitoring these tournaments for the past month and I have noticed that the ones later in the day tend to have less action. bodog has been running these tourneys from 1:20pm to 8:40pm EST. The best equity can be found around 6 to 7pm. good luck

Are you sure about that PPP? That does not correlate with previous years and I have not heard anything about changes. This is one of the agreements I had to sign after winning my seat.

  1. Players who qualify for any event via Bodog.com Poker’s Qualifier program will agree without reservation to wear Bodog.com apparel for the duration of the event when permitted to do so by the tournament rules. Bodog.com will supply each participant with a selection of Bodog.com Poker gear and/or apparel.
I hope you are right. I would rather not be a poster boy for bodog during the tournament.
