No need to get uspet... Obama has a few more debates to catch up. Don't get your panties all up in a bunch there redsox.

still no point in asking the question though if you already knew the answer, unless you wanted reassurance that your right since you are challenging any opposer saying they are wrong when you were asking what they themselves thought to begin with.

again your imposing your mccain bias on us. nothing wrong with that, just admit it and move on.

the polls though like i said wait until you have conclusive data. i cited the cnn focus saying obama 61 mccain 39. like i said just wait though, dont get your panties in a bunch.

Early Poll Results Suggest More Uncommitted Voters Saw Obama As Debate Winner

CBS News and Knowledge Networks conducted a nationally representative poll of approximately 500 uncommitted voters reacting to the debate in the minutes after it happened.

These figures are still preliminary and could change as more respondents complete the survey. But here's what we have so far:

Forty percent of uncommitted voters who watched the debate tonight thought Barack Obama was the winner. Twenty-two percent thought John McCain won. Thirty-eight percent saw it as a draw.

Forty-six percent of uncommitted voters said their opinion of Obama got better tonight.

Sixty-eight percent of uncommitted voters think Obama would make the right decisions about the economy. Forty-one percent think McCain would.

Less than half of the people have a better opinion of Obama?

The last blurb is favorable for Obama and the economy, but how do they feel about his foreign policy? Good old CBS couldn't have forgot to leave that out... but they could have on purpose.

I thought when the crowd laughed when Mccain went through a mock conversation with Ajmalajed was pretty memorable.

Iran: We are going to nuke Israel off the planet
Pres Mccain: No you aren't
Iran: Yes we are

Mccain was teaching foreign policy 101. It was sad.

The reason why I am shocked is because Obama is a better speaker and early on his 2 min not answering the question messages were effective... Mccain just rambled about spending.

but once the debate really started ( foreign policy), Mccain was the clear winner, you said it yourself.

i did not say mccain won. i don't think you can pick a winner unless you are clearly partisan, in which case your opinion is worthless.

i think obama did well on the fiscal issues and effectively tied mccain to bush. i think mccain has certain aspects of iraq and the surge on his side but he, nor can any of us, justify the 600B spent and how we have stregnthened iran by removing saddam.

there are so many ins and outs for anyone who is objective... no one is gonna come here looking for objectivity.

the paraphrasing of this continues to get worse.

do yourself a favor and google the name of the guy you so ignorantly keep misspelling. more lack of substance and surplus of weakness.

Drudge has it 70/30 McCain FWIW.

haha... you can always find someone who is saying what you want to hear.

40% of uncommitted voters who watched the debate tonight thought Barack Obama was the winner. 22% thought John McCain won. 38% saw it as a draw.
68% of these voters think Obama would make the right decision
about the economy. 41% think McCain would.
49% of these voters think Obama would make the right decisions about Iraq. 55% think McCain would.

McCain did not teach Obama anything. They have differing points of view both of which hold some water.

Keep up the ignorant talking points tho man. Obama used one of McCain's key advisers against him. So no lessons were taught.

You keep seeing what you want to see. It would probably take too much effort to actually form educated opinions.

you are unbiased, right.

i think you mean obama at the bottom there...

i think on certain points mccain won the foreign policy debate but not on all of it.

personally i think both candidates said what their bases wanted to hear but i think obama appealed more to independents.

you must be smoking crack man, obama appealed to more independents? Please tell me you are joking or smoking!

McCain won and this is why.

Obama to his credit gets an A to an A+ on his ability to study and give an oral presentation of what he has read about.

McCain gets an A to an A+ to what he has lived through, experienced and has acted and help influence and passed legistlation on.

What shined through easily for me is Obama talked the talked McCain has walked the walk.

Obama crushed.

The CBS poll of undecideds has more confirmatory detail. Obama went from a +18 on "understanding your needs and problems" before the debate to a +56 (!) afterward. And he went from a -9 on "prepared to be president" to a +21.

McCain’s essential problem is that his fundamental strength – his experience -- is specifically not viewed by voters as carrying over to the economy. And the economy is pretty much all that voters care about these days.

Obama won over way more independents and swing votes tonight than McCain did. And thats all that matters. Thats what decides elections, not what the partisan sides think.
