My relative chansces opinion as of today:
Kerry 40%
Clark 25%
Edwards 20%
Dean 10%
Other 5%

I don't think you have much of a shot, sorry.

IMO, Dean is too far left and makes too many off the cuff comments that backfire on him.

I think Kerry will win the nomination with outside possibility that Clark will. democrats need somebody with strong defense bacground to have a chance against Bush.

A2, I tried to warn you. Dean was a favorite when people weren't paying attention and weren't focused. The uniting theme and gosl of democratic voters is to beat Bush. The idea that Dean is the best candidate to do that is obliterated beyond recovery. However he probably won't make sn early exit. He has enough money, organzation and residual support to stick it out. It's going to be a 4-man race for quite awhile.

Edwards just isn't ready to win it yet IMO. He still has little establishment behind him and little base outside of the South. South is a nice little piece of the puzzle in a national election, but in Dem policies it is a moot issue, Dems don't even try much to win Southern states other than Florida anymore. He is a great VP candidate and I feel pretty confident if it isn't him in that spot it will probably be Clark, but I don't think he satisfies the hunger of the party and their zeal to dump Bush right now. This cycle has to be about him getting some recognition, making some converts for future battles, and maybe getting the VP nomination to work on those things more. Still though he strikes me as someone that still needs to work on his platform a little more. It sounds good, but as others have pointed out in some regards he is very conservative and others he is like a wannabe Dick Gephardt.

Yes, of course. For like 35 years, same woman. Very nice lady, Gert. They have one son, Wes Jr. who lives in LA, married to a hispanic, they just had their first child.

If it comes down to wives, Clark's in good shape over the (no offense) strange-lookin aloof doc married to Dean and the abbrasive super-rich ketchup heiress married to Kerry.

That will work against Kerry if he is the nominee. Edwards has a wonderful wife
