The Heisman finalists have been named and the winner of college football’s most coveted award will be announced this coming Saturday. In the last days, leading betting experts have picked Robert Griffin III (Baylor QB) as the main favorite to win this trophy with 1/9 odds. If the betting public consensus starts to hammer away on Griffin, the market will adjust and his odds will rise to 10/1 or higher.
Andrew Luck (Stanford QB) and Trent Richardson (Alabama RB) are priced at 3/1 and 4/1. Both players had tremendous seasons and Luck is the only returning finalist.
Monte Ball (Wisconsin RB)and Tyrann Mathieu (LSU CB) round out the list with 50/1 and 100/1 odds, but only very little chance to take the trophy. However, there is no real winner until the announcement is made so we expect to write some good bets over the next few days on all the finalists.
