Number 4 Bobby Orr,is the best since my time on earth, saw him play twice in person, when he was on the ice and just touched the puck the crowd at the Gahden would start to roar in anticipation, he played with as much heart as with talent and was just as humble.
Ted Williams was probably the best in history but wasn't around to see him.
does Bledsoe and Milloy look now?I think Tom Brady will be the Pats first super duper star....fxckin kid is a winner...Belichick maybe the first super coach. How

Now I know most of you guys get all gooey in the groin over fancy fantasy numbers and all the phoney bullshit, but since I posted this Super Tom has picked up two more rings and was one bad pass away from being at least 11-0 in the playoffs and is currentley 10-1 in playoffs. He is also not quite half way through his career.

I said Bird before but I cant make up my mind now

There is such much to Boston Lore, you can say a number of names and not be wrong.

You can throw Tom Brady in the picture now, just to make things more interesting.

Larry Legend, Teddy Ballgame, Bobby Orr, Bill Russel.
Dewey was the most underrated.

I grew up in Massachusetts so this thread brings back some good memories. One of my favorite Boston athletes was Jim Rice. I don't feel he really got the credit he deserved. He was a marvelous ballplayer. I also liked Fred Lynn, Carleton Fisk, Dwight Evans, Larry Bird, John Havlicek, Ray Bourque, Brad Park and Cam Neely.

My pick would have to be the magical #4, Bobby Orr.
