Very hard to argue with your list. I agree, exactly in the same order to boot.

Hey guys,

from Boston thru 67 to 85. Only problem I have with naming Orr as best is he reminds me of Bo Jackson - awesome for a few years but cut short in his prime. Unfortunately his career ended all too early.

Reason I went for Ted is he did his thing over a longer period of time despite that he had 4 and a half seasons ripped out of his career.

Can't lose with any of these guys mentioned, I'm glad I was fortunate enough to see most of 'em.

Btw,

I have totally disgraced myself, from top 10 I left off both Rocky Marciano and Marvin Hagler both from Brockton, MA.

I humbly request forgiveness.

One of four, and anyone could be the top guy...Bird, Russell, Orr, Williams...

I think Ted Williams gets it by a fraction..I know Wilheim will want to choke me, but Ted had the long great career as did Bird and Russell, Orr had the numbers revolutionalized the sport but played a much shorter career...

WINNER IS TED WILLIAMS, BOSTON !
WINNER FOR DETROIT WAS GORDIE HOWE !

Next City on the tour CLEVELAND!

Jesus I don't belive it I agree with Lander and Wiheim on something.
Number 4 Bobby Orr,is the best since my time on earth, saw him play twice in person, when he was on the ice and just touched the puck the crowd at the Gahden would start to roar in anticipation, he played with as much heart as with talent and was just as humble.
Ted Williams was probably the best in history but wasn't around to see him.
I think Tom Brady will be the Pats first super duper star....fxckin kid is a winner...Belichick maybe the first super coach. How does Bledsoe and Milloy look now?
