Staring at the gaggle of bankers waiting to foreclose on his casino properties, he turns the shit around. They not only renegotiate all of the debt but take HUGE haircuts in the process.
When he borrowed the money HE knew, but they didn't, that in a foreclosure (there was NO WAY he could ever pay those original loans back) all the moeny men would get is the properties, they would not have access to the CASINO Licenses. And since he had "control", he bitched slapped them down and made them bark like the dogs they were.

He's a jerk, but a cool dude.

He was, is, and will always be the epitome of "cool" IMO.

I have "A Night in the Garden" on CD and for those who don’t have it...GET IT. This man had the balls to open with a full orchestra playing Strauss & end with the announcement, "Elvis has left the building..." And in between? 70 minutes of the finest live show you'll ever hear! Now how cool is that?

I don’t think anyone will ever be able to come close to what he did…
