Just wondering how many ppl claim and prepare by themselves, and for those that use assistance, who do they use? Would it be better to have someone prepare them for you if you're going to claim gambling income? Or does it not really matter.. .

I know Fishhead always claims his, been trying to ask him if he uses anyone to assists him, and if so, who?. :icon_conf

Thanks!

I have used H&R Block Premium for the last 12+ years and will do the same this year.

Although I could do them myself, for less than $200, I get the peace of mind of somebody double checking my return and also pointing out something that I may not have been aware of, as the tax laws change yearly.

Also, I can recieve free consultation with them for the entire year and they will also represent me for no charge if I should be audited.

All this is worth it to me for less than $200..........and this fee can be deducted off your taxes as well.

I see, I have used H&R Taxcut and done myself in the past, but never claimed winnings because, like most of the majority, end up losing each year. Just curious because I feel a great year coming up! :toast:

Thanks for the info!
