If you had to stay one month in either San Francisco or Seattle, which would you choose? Also, what reasons do you have for picking one over the other.

BESIDES weather, cause i already know the weather is more rainy in seattle.

Two of my favorite cities to visit.

How old are you? Two great cities to choose from. If you are young I'd say San Francisco, way more to do and alot of good clubs and bars. If you are older, I'd probably say Seattle....I like the outdoors and it's a little less hectic there.

Not young or old, in my 30's. What part in SF is kind of safe and decent? And which parts do i stay away from? Also, do they have bus or trolly service at night?

San Francisco is a pretty safe city. Might want to stay away from the Castro district unless your in to that kind of thing. Parts of the beach area on the west side and Haight are pretty sketchy, but that never bothered me. The north side has a lot of nicer neighborhoods. I don't know about public transportation but I'm guessing its as good as any big city.
