Journeyman asked the same question last week but only two people actually answered his question, and none of the posters mentioned are posting picks.

If you don't think there's anybody worth following, then just let this thread sink down to the next page.

Thanks!

ACE-ACE is the best IMO.

Smartz,Alamorich, and Skinsraj are good in baseball.
Boxslayer is picking winners in NCAA Baseball

When Football comes back I think I would be worth following.
I had a huge following on another forum last year and expect
the same results this coming year. Well Good Luck.

I suppose you are referring to soccer wagers since that is
what this forum is about, and in particular the WC. To those
mentioned before i'd add JackDee as i see he has now begun
a WC thread. He specializes in the Greek "football".

kirkmuller,
While I'm flattered by X-files suggestions, I can bet losers as good as any. Following someone in a Short Tournament like the World Cup is a coin toss as there's no room for recouping early losses. A better strategy would be to read all and form an opinion on how strongly posters make their claim.
Best of Luck anyways and steer clear of the odds on shots.:103631605

hinesward? will have to check this guys out.

Slim's so far managed to pick Sweden amongst all the favourite's that have won so far, and touted it as a goy... most of the time he knows what he's talking about, but whenever he loses it Always a bad beat, an unlucky one, the forces of the universe conspiring against the pick etc. and I personally can't stomach this.

I follow several posters here and respect several othrs. Jackdee,Duck, chriscol. That being said, I think the WOrld Cup is a crapshoot, you are basically betting on Allstar teams from each country. I think it is very hard to handcapp that, verses the league play that all these cappers are very good at. GL , I don't think any of the guys listed above make stupid plays , so if you follow any of them I think you will at least have a "fair" shot.

I am going to respectfully disagree here since you said its basically allstar teams from each country. All star teams and games have no meaning behind it but the World Cup has plenty of meaning behind it so its just as meaningful as any league game. Capping still applies since you gotta take into account team history, team injuries, matchups, star players, the system each team plays etc etc so its more than a crapshoot. One can agrue that Chelsea and Man U are all star teams since each team is packed with super star players that are featured in the world cup so under your reasoning a game between those two teams are crapshoots also.

Did not mean to imply the world cup is meaningless at all, infact it is just the opposite. My point was unlike league games, these players do not play together week to week ,year to year and some don't play in europe so it is even harder to judge.

I guess what I am trying to say is I have a lot more confidence in say Chriscol's handicapping in Bundes , where he knows the players and teams from years and months of watching them play. As compared to world cups teams that really don't play together that much compared to league play.

Frankly, I'm not sure if there is anyone worth following on this website. There are better handicappers elsewhere. Examples: belfoured, radical boy and deano. Generally, the most knowledgeable tend to be natives of the countries playing.

Have been following ACA's picks and doing pretty well but I would like to compare them to the experts you speak of....What site do they post at?

Tipsters locations. Belfoured at covers soccer forum. Radical boy at absoluteodds. Deano at freebetting.net. There are probably other handicappers I missed.
