If anybody is truly interested in hearing an intelligent analysis on this issue pick up "The Bell Curve". If you recall the liberal media went nuts when this book came out in the 1990's and crucified the authors. In fact, you can't argue with the book's conclusions as it is all laid out for you.
I recall the book concludes that Jews are the smartest. Asian and Whites were next....they have different strengths and weaknesses. Latinos and then Blacks rounded out the bottom. Can't recall where Indians are in the mix.
Men as a group are not smarter than woman in many male dominated fields such as math and engineering, yet they have more on the extreme ends of the bell curve. In other words, there are more geniuses and dullards in the male sex.

I don't think any race is inherently smarter than the others, too many factors to say that one way or another. Motivation for example is very important, maybe the biggest indicator of them all.
