Out the of 5 or 6 books including a local, that I do use........BookMaker is the one I use the least. I always seem to find better lines from somewhere else and it doesn't matter if I'm playing a side or a total!
CRIS and The GREEK should only be used on Sunday night(college football), and only if you know what you are doing.

The problem with Bookmaker is that if someone bets a side with them, they always seem to take a bet on the other side immediately, thus remaining in the middle of most books...two way action is a bonus for them...

Bellyputter is 99% correct about Sunday nights...this is when the line originates...

Definitely co-sign on SIA... if you're even thinking about betting a favorite don't even bother logging into SIA. If you want to bet on a dog don't even bother looking anywhere but SIA. It's crazy, there must be so many square players there. Everyone bets chalk.

From the perspective of the bettor who has accounts at multiple sportsbooks, the books with the "worst lines" aren't the ones that shade the favourites. nor are they the ones that shade the underdogs ... the books with the "worst lines" are the ones who are always in the middle of the pack, who NEVER have the best number on either team.

Given the above criteria, the books with the "worst lines" would certainly include Wagerweb and Justbet/Guardian.

very fair !

openers at -110, if you're sharp enough to pick them off !

reduced vig/ exchanges if you bet later ( most of us)

all late -110 shops are worthless.

I am not good enough with foots, to pounce on opening lines, I don't have that instinct, and I know that, so I have to wait, and get the -101 MB type lines.

I can do that with NBA, even NHL, or MLB, but not college. I have no confidence in my college picks, and follow others in CFB and CBB.

You must be careful. I was shown the door by a new "out" this week for making this mistake. Minny +14.5 -05 Cal -13 -05. Some books don't care. This one took it personally. Second time in the last two years. Greed kills!

You're right. I forgot about Intertops because I gave up playing there a few months ago.

The funny thing is, a couple of years ago, Intertops used to be slow as molasses to move their lines. Then, all of a sudden about a year or so ago, they did a complete 180 ... now, it's almost impossible to find a good number there.

I think in general all books have good and bad lines in the sense of good and bad for the client, but if you know how to wager then dont take line and and wager at the other book. You should always have 4 different books to wager with cause some are going to have money on the other side and wont want to move the line, so they hold off and that is when you catch the best line for you. I work at bet911 and we offer 20 and 10 cent lines along with -107 en football and basketball. You just have to be on top of who has the best line but there are no worst lines to be honest

Which book if you don't mind me asking?

That's a dick move by them. Don't move your lines over key numbers if you are afraid of people buying back their bet.
