Some of us have jobs and family that are a bit more important than posting on the forum.

I enjoy the forum, but I think my priorities are all in the right place.

I've spent this morning in my yard with my grandaughter, looking at bugs, swinging, chasing a rabbit and playing hide and seek and other games - it brings that old commercial to mind "it just doesn't get any better than this".

The United States isn't "ruined". It's still the best country in the world to live in by far. That's why so many are trying to get into the U.S. We have something so good here than not even the politicians could f*** it up.

Kingbill...you're better than that.

It wasn't a jab...I like nothing better than to spend an afternoon in the park with my daughter...we chase squirrels not rabbits.

What's wrong with what I said?

Is there a standard I'm supposed to adhere to?

If there's an ettiquette I should follow, then please explain it to me, I'm old and have a hard time understanding these more complex organizational rules.

Sorry I should have used a smiley avatar or something, as your was clearly was the most brilliant post in this thread :103631605

Around here it's rabbits and every now and then a chipmunk. Grandkids are more fun to play with - all of the love and NONE of the responsibility.

Yeah, for some reason I get that picture of Don Corleone chasing around after his grandkid and having a heart attack in "The Godfather"...

You got it!

And you can spoil them all you want - no matter how mad the parents get at you, they'll never turn down that free babysitting service where the kid is picked up and dropped off.
