as for jw,if he is going to keep a record
it should be one that is honest and detailed.
that doesn't just mean w-l,but also reflects unitswon. Otherwise someone can just select heavy favs and build a nice w/l while still being down units. this is a favourite tactic of
some on here, amongst other creative accounting
tricks.
So i'm keeping jw/donnay's record in line.

Stars has the nicest interface. you can
also play for pennies there.but better players
by far the best info board on the net is

I guess thats why I handle most of my activity elsewhere.
Would love to share more information, but just not worth the time.
Not all of us have the time to spend offering analysis and reasoning. Would love to spend my day in front of the cpu and give my logic. Fortunately I have a successful job and super family and use most of my quality time there.
I do when I am able and I am sure others do, but this site is to offer information, selections, assistance and all around conversation.
You obviously get to know the "good" and "bad" on this site and others.
As far as value to the site, Quantum Leap said it best.

I've read only 2 books: "Winning Low Limit Hold'em" by Lee Jones and "Small Stakes Hold'em" by Sklansky, Malmuth and Miller. Great books, especially the latter. Can you recommend any other books?
The Pacific players are indeed weak/loose but the number of maniacs is large and the software is quite crappy. No decent stats function, hand histories etc. I might try Party sometime.
So far I only play Hold'em at the $0.5/$1 limit tables - I don't want to get my arse handed to me at the higher stakes tables What about you?
