I dont mean like covers.com when two teams play each other, it shows how they fared their last times, and how their last few games have gone. That is team-specific trend information.

I am looking for situation-specific trend information.

Like an East Coast Team off a division rival win is 20-120 ATS when traveling to the west coast in its next game.

Situation-specific. Thank you.

My bad. CBS does have what your looking for, for baseball betting, but they dont have it for football.

But this place does have everything you are looking for.

Little article about Thursday's tiff at Three Rivers from Rx. capping news.

Steelers face Browns on Thursday to open Week 14 By Chris Palochko PA SportsTicker Staff Writer

Facing the Cleveland Browns always is special for Ben Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger looks to remain unbeaten in his career against the Browns when the Pittsburgh Steelers host their AFC North Division rivals Thursday night.

Roethlisberger attended Findlay High School, which is roughly 125 miles from Cleveland, and was the runner-up for 1999 Mr. Football honors in Ohio. He went on to star at Miami (Ohio), rewriting virtually every school record.

In his career, Roethlisberger has won all four of his starts against the Browns. The last time the teams met was November 19, when Roethlisberger engineered a trio of touchdown drives in the fourth quarter to help Pittsburgh rally for a 24-20 victory.

Roethlisberger overcame a poor start in that contest and completed 25-of-44 passes for 272 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. In his career vs. Cleveland, Roethlisberger owns a 63.4 completion percentage and a quarterback rating of 83.1.

Despite winning three of their last four games, the Steelers (5-7) dug themselves too large a hole early this season and have virtually no chance of defending their Super Bowl title. Nine teams in the AFC have a better record than the Steelers.

Cleveland (4-8) is looking to carry momentum from a victory last Sunday.

With injured starting quarterback Charlie Frye watching from the sideline, backup Derek Anderson spearheaded the Browns to a 31-28 overtime triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Anderson, who had played in just one game in his first two seasons, was 12-of-21 for 171 yards, two TDs and an interception.

Frye, who suffered a right wrist injury in the first half, is questionable for this contest.

On Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts (10-2), San Diego Chargers (10-2), New England Patriots (9-3) and Seattle Seahawks (8-4) all could clinch division titles.

Wil,

I use the RX database query a little bit.

But overall, therx trends on the trend sheet go back about 7-8 games, and as much as I like looking at recent trends, I like looking at in-depth situational trends as described above.

The database query hits direct situations (such as record vs. division rivals), but once the situation becomes a bit more "dynamic", and adds another angle to it (such as record vs. division rivals after a bye week), you cant find those trends. Or at least I can't. Again, the database query also seems limited and only goes back 20 games. (As far as I can tell)

You know I love this site. And while therx is your one-stop shop for all information, sometimes it helps to go a little "deeper" into your query with sites that specialize in that specific area.

Box - I also hear that which is why I said a just look now and then..

Seriously speaking The Rx. is working very hard to make the stats area (homepage) the best there is for the average internet handicapper. Rick has his staff working day and night to make it easier and more convienent for cappers to quickly locate the kind of information they are looking for regardless of the sport in question..

Like a great gumbo it takes some stewin time...It's all good and getting better....Stay tuned The Rx. is going to do nothin but get bigger and better...

i can tell you've already made drastic improvements

if there is one thing that annoys me about my handicapping over the internet, it is having 5 different internet windows open at once and bouncing back and forth between each one looking at a stat that no other website seems to have on one page, a trend on another, a writeup/preview/overview on another, pop up windows on another with advertisements, therx is open, etc

if, and when, therx turns into that one stop shop for information, it will be much more convenient to just bounce around on this site with 1 or 2 windows open max because it is all here
