Where are all of the Sadamites?

Search
The Coalition forces kick ass; for the most part, the Iraqi people love the American forces; the Sadamites disappear from this forum!

Could there be a connection, or is it just circumstantial? Could it be that the Sadamite scum don't have the balls to face down the other side now that their position has become so weak.

Good riddance to the Sadamites!

KMAN:

You should take the time to read -slowly if necessary - the anti war posters remarks.

Without a doubt, every poster that was anti war, anti-killing, prefaced their posts by saying Saddam was a piece of shit.

Joey C. - I am stating what I believe from listening to posters on this board.

In my opinion, the Liberal posters on this board are still pissed because Gore couldn't get enough Democrats to vote for him in the 2000 election so they take it out on Bush. The majority of Liberals, not all, would have rather the US and Bush lose this war and Saddam stay in power thn the way it has gone so far.

Joey C,

Why do you think Saddam was a piece of shit? Because he oppressed and killed his own people? If the US and UK lead war stops such killing in Saddam's own and potential other countries, wouldn't people who are anti-killing support that?

You notice this is not an attack but a point of view. I'd like to hear yours.

Don't think there is a poster on this board that would not have popped Saddam right between the eyes.

Not to change the subject, but what really gets me is that this same crowd that says they're "anti-killing", will loudly proclaim their support for partial birth abortions.

I guess it's all in your point of view!

Imbecile. Why don't you think before you spew your childish accusations. No one here has ever said that they support saddam.

Sure. Would you want the govt. dictating what you can and cannot do with your body?

I am against the US intervention, because I think its stupid and naiive to mess about in a place that you know nothing about.

I would also happily have removed Saddo using nothing more than a blunt butter knife, but felt that US air power had a slightly better chance. And then the Iraqis could have sorted themselves out. They're not stupid you know.

Why do you think that they were all cheering?
It wasn't for love. Its practical when theres zillions of guys with guns and tanks in your street, and almost unlimited ammo.
What would YOU do?
I would smile at those foreigners too, and say 'down with saddam!'
I would say down with ANYBODY.

George has gone for the invasion option, it remains to be seen if he will carry his country with him.

Only time will tell.

I think the reasons you attribute to the Iraqis cheering are mostly wrong. If they didn't like it, they would have just been quiet. or maybe you do believe that the troops were threatening the people to make them cheer and tear down statues and stuff....

Have a nice day,

I think radiofreecostarica's opinion is more accurate.

The fact that saddam had been in power for over 25 years is something that most US citizens can never relate to...ever.
Imagine 25 years of Clinton...or Bush...or Nixon. I'd rejoice too. I'm not saying that these people were sucking up to an invading army. I don't believe that the troops would shoot anyone who WASN'T cheering.

And they've have the word of the US government that they will be allowed to form their own government.
Rejoice because the tyrant king is gone and rejoice because the invaders have given their word that they will leave.
