A lot of Bears Kool Aid Drinkers out here predicting Bears blowout. I am just wondering what are the odds once Colts polish them off in Super Bowl, that the Bears fans stay away from the RX vs coming on here to face the music?

I'm the one that voted 75% and up... not for the reason that they are stand-up guys and will face the music--accepting defeat and congratulating Colt backers. My reason is that they will still be here crying, making excuses, NOT congratulating opponents as usual, and will just wreak havoc.

they'll be here, but they won't be here giving the other backers props. sad to see and hear them wanting respect when they don't give it either. according to Bears fans, they should have had an unblemished season and have already locked in the next 4 super bowl titles. At least that's the way they talk.

it's making me sick... i have LOST respect for Bears fans. The reverse love worked, congratulations Bears fans. And for the people who defend Rex and say he IS really good and a top QB. Please eat a ho-ho. Rex would not finish ahead of Peyton/Drew B/Tom B/or even Damn Huard this season--try next year.

Come on Kojak. You're better than this. Sh*t like this makes the Rx a pain in the *ss to wade through. We're hear to make money. Not to make other people feel worse because the team they picked lost and/or because they lost money. Adding stuff like this just makes it more confrontational and makes this place less fun than it should be.

Plus, if the Colts lose it's tough to live something like this down. Hopefully that won't happen though.

Oh and if someone really thinks the bears will win by 14 or more... please send me your money via paypal immediately... i will also think about taking your wager for the next 4 super bowl titles and... Rex Grossmans as league MVP for the next 10 seasons.

Super Bowl 41:
COLTS 31
BEARS 14

Thank you for your business,
Jetplane

Jibba, what's up buddy. Yeah... you're right... but the Bears fans asked for it. Kojak would never have done this unless provoked by the mass of people that get on EVERYONE ELSES case. We would save 20 threads' lives by eliminating the Bears' cry for help.

Jibba,
I have no problem with any of these guys Mane, GoldenGreek, etc. This was done all in fun not bashing. They are all very good cappers and do make good points for their side. I just felt like having some fun since many posters come into my thread constantly bashing my picks but when they win, they disappear like a fart in the wind. This is simply a fun way to hold some of these guys accountable who have an opinion and are not stand up. Mistaflava, Gyne, Ace, and others are stand up guys who are here when they win or lose. Some of these new guys don't and thought it would be interesting to see who is here after it is over or if the NFL section becomes a ghosttown. BOL buddy.

Fair enough. I can relate somewhat. A lot of the younger folk here think it's some big contest among Rx'ers and like to show off the few times they're right. Last night when the score was 21-3 I think I was one of the only ones here who said Indy was still in that game. Now all of a sudden those same people who were bitching and moaning that the game was over in the 2nd quarter are all over the forums talking about what a great pick they made.

Maybe it was just the use of the word "when" that struck me. Guess it was just that some of the other cappers I respect quite a bit here disappointed me with childish antics recently and was hoping you didn't go down the same path. Glad to see you're not. I'm with ya in the SB (although slightly uneasy about it) bro. :toast:

Are you serious? This post just made me laugh since you didn't realize that I bet on the Patriots.

You just kind of missed the point that too many people have the attitude you have, which is that it's all this big "me against you" contest on here. I didn't start a thread claiming to be right or claiming that some other Rx'er is a moron. Stop acting childish dude. We're hear to win money not to have a pissing contest.

I think boat was trying to refer to you being right so little... i think you're a decent capper and you always stand on your plays win or lose. no biggie. GL in next!

My posted plays did very well in the NFL this year, although I stuck to easy teaser plays and a select few games I had a very good grasp on. Overall I'm the first to admit I'm an amateur (see the title of my NBA thread), but I do alright in NFL and MLB, which are the two sports I follow closest. Like most, I'm hear to learn from those who have been around the block and maybe follow a few hot cappers.

Pretty sure he was claiming I was a hypocrit for saying people shouldn't be so quick to publicly pat themselves on the back. I'll stand by everything I've said here as I see it as consistent. Thanks for the kind words though Jetplane. :toast:

Kojak you know I'm not going anywhere you know and I know I will face the music... But I don't see it happening... If the Bears cover or win which I think there is about an 80% chance one of thsoe things happen I will still be right because I am telling you there is no way the colts cover 7 points...

But i will face the music if I am wrong you know that and so do i

Do you understand though the Colts have struggled to blow anyone out this year including teams like the Titans and Texans who they lost to?

Koj..glad to see you are in good health again. I cap'd my own games during the season and compared it to your picks. Most of them was alike with similar views on the games. Win or lose..you along with others like you mentioned always came back to the forum and faced the music. Props...Havn't decided yet but leaning towards the Colts..wait till line drops or something...
