whats the most anyone has won in a free roll

I won 30 bucks once 7 bucks a couple times and 1 dollar more times than I can remember. and thats it, Ive been playing for two months.

I want to play in the 75k and 100k prima tournaments soon but im not going to spend 50-100 bucks to get killed. the style of play in those things is a lot different from a free roll also.

$200 bucks many moons ago from Party Poker. I came in 3rd place after 6 hours and 20 minutes. I don't have notes on the size of the field but it was huge. Not worth it from a financial standpoint but well worth it for the experience.

I don't do the freerolls anymore but in my limited experience, they are not well played for the first hour or two but after that the play gets serious. At that point you have the folks who are a) trying to win $, b) trying to have fun but play well, and c) trying to learn the game.

BTW, if I knew then what I know now, I would have never played. It just isn't worth the time to play that long for such a crappy payoff.
