Things that were better 20 years ago:
1. American culture and norms. Young boys weren’t pumped full of Ritalin and school shootings were extremely rare (remember Columbine hadn’t happened yet). And, gays and tranny’s weren’t bizarrely celebrated as virtuous and courageous.
2. The President. The President 20 years ago was much more capable and accomplished than this current dipshit clown just mailing it in.
3. The NBA was a much better product
4. Airports & flying. We didn’t have the security theater and the overall horrible experience of today
5. Traffic in the DC Metro area. My goodness is it just unbearable now.
6. Movies: in 1996 the following were released: Jerry McGuire, The English Patient, Sling Blade, A Time to Kill, Kingpin, Fargo, The Nutty Professor and Tin Cup. Movies today seem to absolutely suck.
