What stuff is still made in America, or at least Canada ?

I will be buying a new washer/ dryer set soon, and was thinking about Samsung, I talked with an appliance dude earlier claiming 40 years experience, he tried to talk me into American made Maytag or GE instead.

I just assumed they were all Chinese made, but Maytag is made in Ohio, GE in Kentucky, Saming in Korea, presumably South Korea !

Dude told me the Maytags have the fewest problems, so I'm going to have to go that way. More research coming.
