I got the Hawks winning by 10 plus....probably my lock of the year. Take it for what it's worth, but I really expect the Hawkeyes to win big....they are probably the best in the big ten......My numbers got them 17-15 against USC. I should be in attendance but some unforeseen x-mas present to the Vikings playoff game kept me away from my old stomping grounds and fishhead extravaganza of celebration. Hopefully, 5team, will make up for the official RX photographer, while i'm away watching my other ML lock move on to Carolina Panthers and win y;all some money.

I,,mn drunk. Merry Christmas and happy kwanzaa , Mother Effers!:pope:

Tailgate was a success and the HAWKEYES cruised to an easy victory, continuing their dominance vs. SEC teams in recent bowl games.

There were many thrilling cornhole matches.

Black Bart, after making some impressive throws in his first match, really bit the dust thereafter(beers, shots?). Billsey defeated Black Bart in a match that was never in doubt, as she cruised to an easy 21-11 win. I think he lost a doubles match to Billsey also.

5teamer was more interested in eating and drinking for most of the day rather than embarrass himself cornholing. I also did not participate, as I was usually cleaning the van and stuffing my face also.

As far as the Hawkeyes, I think Matt Kroel may be a sleeper for somebody in the draft that is looking for a run stopping nose tackle or defensive tackle. Him and Mitch King were perhaps the two best interior DL that have played together since I've been following the Hawks. They will be sorely missed next year.

Iowa has had a good recruiting year, and Jewel Hampton may not replace Greene at RB, but I expect him to be one of the better backs in the Big Ten next year, if not the country. He has done nothing but impress me in his limited play over the course of this season. Unfortunately he wasnt going to get many touches with a workhouse like Greene ahead of him.

The Hawks offense should be fine, it will be the defense that will be the concern next year.

Unfortunately, the only pics of the day were one of me and Billy Mays that 5Team took with my PDA and another of 5Team, myself, and 5Team's dad that a friend of mine took in the stadium on her iPhone. I will effort retrieval of said pictures and forward to 5Team if he wants to post as posting a pic in this thread is probably well beyond my technical capability.

Good time had by all. Billsey completely wiped me in cornhole, but there was three young triplets at the next tailgate over that came over and were absolute money. I think those kids play professionally.

I wish the game was more competitive, but I think we all had a good time regardless. We'll have to get the Tampa crew together again soon. Notable in his absence was Barman, who I'm sure has a reasonable excuse.

5Team was right, the highlight of the day was hanging with Billy Mays outside the stadium right after kickoff. Classic. I'm not sure if he's like that in real life or if he was in character.

The highlight of the day was singing "IN HEAVEN THERE IS NO BEER, THAT'S WHY WE DRINK IT HERE" near the end of the game, celebrating the Hawkeyes rout of the gamecocks.

It was great to see King, Greene, Olsen, and Kroel all go out on top before they begin their Sunday jobs later in the year.

Even with the loss of these four future NFL players(and probably a few more), Iowa should still enter next season ranked no lower than 16th in the preseason polls.

Hawkeye171 made a cameo appearance at the tailgate and then was not to be seen again.

Hate to be the harbinger of Sad Times, but I really think CockNation is going to pull this one out

Stick to handicapping the Rays sir, the Cocks were down 21-0 before they knew what hit them.
