you sound paranoid, sir.

heh

I've been JailFree since Oct 1996 and plan to stay that way.

Plus, never ever been arrested on drug charges - another slate I'd like to keep clean.

I did burn a phat one at a TB Rays tailgate three years ago when the Parrotheads took over the far east grass parking area.

In a playoff format, this process can be repeated the next week.

Is this game a sellout?

What a day here in Tampa for the Hawkeye fans!

They completely dominated the beach party......must have been 40 hawkeye fans for every cocks fan. Had a great time.

South Carolina fans I spoke with said they are only sending 12-15,000 fans to the game. Having said that, just came from the Hawkeye Huddle at the convention center and there were more than 20,000 hawkeye fans there.........so expecting 25,000+ for the game. I feel like shit, had 3.43 beers, which is slightly over my stated 3 beer a day limit.

PS- Mitch King gave a classic speech at the Hawkeye Huddle...........Viking611, sure your dying to hear his comments.

Outback Bowl

vs. Iowa wind chill

It's true that the grim economy is hurting the Outback Bowl, which will likely draw its smallest crowd since 2000. This is the first time in seven years that the New Year's Day game in Tampa isn't sold out. But hotels are packed and hordes are on the beach.

I'll probably drive over to give myself some flexibility.

FISH,

Where about do you think you're going to be? North side?

Looking forward to it.

Yes, if all goes as planned, the NORTH endzone........can't believe I'm still up, have to get up at 4:45am

By the way, the economy has little if anything at all with this game not selling out, it's much more the result of South Carolina not traveling..........which I'm sure as little to do with the economy.

Expecting about 26,000 Hawkeye fans to be at the game, slightly down from their previous two Outback Bowl appearances when a total of around 30,000 were in attendance.............again, this may be partly due to Iowa playing South Carolina, as playing an LSU, FLORIDA, or GEORGIA would have at least convinced a few hundred more Hawkeye fans to drive/fly down.

By the way, when the clock strikes 8am tommorrow morning, I guarantee there will be a ratio of at least 10-1 Hawk fans tailgating compared to their conterparts from S.C., the Cocklovers........the same will be said 2-3 hours AFTER the game also..........win or lose.

PREDICTION

SOUTH CAROLINA 17
IOWA 24

Stat predictions......

Greene runs for 119 yards
Stanzi passes for 223 yards
Brodell has a 30+ yard punt return

Game MVP: Brodell

Down On The Bay: King rips South Carolina players at Hawkeye Huddle Posted 12/30/2008 7:26 PM CST on Des Moines Register Mitch King kept his fingers to himself. But not his opinion of South Carolina players. The last of five Iowa players to speak at tonight's Hawkeye Huddle at the Tampa's downtown convention center, Iowa's senior defensive tackle got worked into a frenzy when emcee Gary Dolphin approached him with the microphone. He made a reference to himself and his teammates showing up a few days earlier at an Outback Bowl function in their team-issued sweatsuits, while ripping into South Carolina players for showing up at the same event with hats turned sideways, chains and t-shirts. He screamed that's not what Iowa players do, because "that's what Hawkeye pride is all about!" The crowd went nuts. King clearly threw down the gauntlet, although not as dramatically as former Iowa defensive end Matt Roth did at this same event four years earlier. At the Hawkeye Huddle that preceded the 2005 Capital One Bowl, Roth said he had two words for Louisiana State, Iowa's opponent. Then he decided to flip them the bird with both hands. No obscene gestures this time. But with less than two days to go until kickoff, it's game on.

I got the Hawks winning by 10 plus....probably my lock of the year. Take it for what it's worth, but I really expect the Hawkeyes to win big....they are probably the best in the big ten......My numbers got them 17-15 against USC. I should be in attendance but some unforeseen x-mas present to the Vikings playoff game kept me away from my old stomping grounds and fishhead extravaganza of celebration. Hopefully, 5team, will make up for the official RX photographer, while i'm away watching my other ML lock move on to Carolina Panthers and win y;all some money.

I,,mn drunk. Merry Christmas and happy kwanzaa , Mother Effers!:pope:

Headed out the door, GO HAWKS..........

I hope 159 beers is enough for you alcoholics in attendance.

Billsey, Viking, and my nephew, Stadium all love the Hawks to cruise.

Im sticking with my hard fought 7pt Iowa victory prediction, with the game probably in doubt down to the last 5 minutes................

HAVE A PROFITABLE DAY BETTING RXers.............kill them bookies!!!
