For the two posters who seem to think we are bad friends - Your all entitled to your own opinions. As am I-

My opinion is, BECAUSE RIO is a good friend to me - as I am to them. They saw that BHB was CHEATED out of the 10k refund that we SHOULD have recieved. Now whether or not you agree that we should have gotten the money back is a moot point. Whats important here is that RIO and BHB felt we should have gotten the refund.

Its because of that they offered us the 10k. That shows true loyalty and friendship on both parts. I only osted it here so everyone would openly know what Rio had done. It would have been easy for me to not let anyone know. I think it shows further proof that Rio is in strong financial standing.

By the way, your analogy was terrible. No way near the same situation.

THE PEOPLE AT RIO/SKYBOOK HAVE BEEN A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. THEY HAVE BEEN NOTHING BUT POLITE AND HAVE ALWAYS TREATED ME NOT LIKE A NUMBER. IT MAKES SENSE TO ME THAT THEY OFFERED BHB THE $. THEY ARE, ESPECIALLY IF PEOPLE PAY ATTENTION TO THE CONTESTS, THE MOST GENEROUS RUN BOOK IN THE INDUSTRY.

From what I can gather the 10K RIO was kind enough to give you is essentially found money, right? Up until they made the offer you considered the money lost, and you wrote it off to a bad hand shake business deal with MW. So why not show some real class and donate the money to the poor children of Costa Rica for this Cristmas. San Jose is teaming with underprivedleged children who will have no Christmas, the 10K would go a long way to make some unfortunate children very happy.

I think more books should give back to the poor people of Costa Rica. they make a lot of money, and should set up some type of foundation for the underprivileged.
