What is the best Anti-virus software?

I don't know how things turned out for you , but if I understand you correctly, a virus wouldn't be fixed by Ad-Aware as it is a spyware removal program.

Always worked for me, free and isnt a system hog. Just update definitions first and should get rid of issues.
