What is a .5 line in hockey?

I know that a -1.5 line means that your team has to win by 2 goals to cash your bet. But would that mean a -0.5 line mean that your team would need to win by one goal? If so, how does it differ from a money line bet?

Pretty sure it refers to the first 60 mins of the game. If the contest goes into OT you'd lose.

Therefore you're taking the moneyline in regulation. Hope that helps
