3 way generally includes a tie to my knowledge. So I am assuming you could have bet a tie after 5 or Mets or opponent.

3 way is if you bet the Mets to be leading at the end of 5 and it's a tie you lose. You have 3 choices and your choice must win. I am assuming the tie play has + juice.
