I would like to suggest we rename this thread "What do you think about things davidcng doesnt know crap about". Let give you a piece of advice Dave, it's a scientific fact that Wolfie has never been wrong and never lost an internet battle and has rarely had to resort to name calling to maintain that record, so dont waste your time with bullshit numbers that you are pulling out of your ass. Thanks in advance.

their page wasn't opening for me directly from CR, I had to login to a server located elsewhere to see the page

anyway this part "Envoy is registered with HM Revenue and Customs in the UK as a Money Service Business (MSB) " tells me that they are not precisely going to like US facing operations

For instance, Royal Bank of Scotland does not open accounts /process credit card deposits for customers located in the US (related to egaming)

However.....just to entertain you , I will contact them and ask them and will report back

update: forget that part, http://www.envoyservices.com/coverage.html , do you see the US listed anywhere????

http://chargestream.com/ this one the best of Europe, Uk sportsbook with a and b ratings use this one to send money. (NO COST FOR THE PLAYER).

Once again "
ChargeStream is registered as a Money Services Business with the UK tax authorities, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs." which 'sort of' leads me to believe that they know what is going on in the States and want NOTHING to do with any of that.....

some more info for you david,
http://chargestream.com/services/services.htm

the lack of 'local banking support' in the US immediately tells me that EVEN IF they did support payouts to the US, they would be via bankwire .......and in case this doesn't ring a bell......the fee is WAY MORE than 40 dollars, it depends on the amount, it takes a few days......wires can get lost, your local bank will also charge you a fee for receiving the wire....and other nightmares

i wasn't aware that books still reversed credit card transactions, that was common practice when i started in 99 but visa/mc quickly moved to block that and started with all sorts of limits. The cost of a reversal is not that price you are quoting and there is (was) a limit to how many reversals/day you can do.

As far as ewallets i can't comment......we've tried to avoid that since many customers dislike the extra hop and therefore we haven't used that option in quite a while.

reverse = delinquent player...

wrong again, this is an international bank wire that we would be talking about, my bank here in CR charges 25 dollars to issue one (minimum charge plus a surcharge depending on the amount) and higher amounts are not unusual, plus sometimes the intermediate banks also take a fee out , end result customer always says "whyyyyyyy is my payouttttttt short of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$"

also you at some point said "That cost are from e-wallets and credit card"

so I figured you were talking about the cost to credit back a credit /debit card transaction as a way to pay..and at that point I said its not a very common thing to do these days....not sure what the 'deliquent player' has to do as that would be a chargeback not a creditback.at any rate

what do I know, I've only been at this for 10 years, we must have been doing it the 'hard' way ever since neteller was shutdown and the owners ended up in jail and every 'processor' is up today and down tomorrow (seems they need viagra LOL)

it 'only' took me a month to finally find a check processor that would 'sort of' be responsive and would have good feedback (And when I say good I mean as in 'not going to disappear tomorrow' .......because the feedback I got was bad in other regards!):)<<

Chargestream and envoy are not a bank, they hold a "SWIFT LINE" for send the money electronically, they dont have the expenses like a bank... they just ask you, who, where and how much to send. No intermediary bank for this.

Well the one thing to come out of all this is land agents.

I've had locals and I even had offshore's back in the 90's and even the call in offshore was vanilla wagering.

Now we have online offshore wagering with a whole candy store of wagering options.

Not sure that is a good thing though..........LOL

wolfie: soon in panama, will be have this system,

'soon' is not now, also sometimes 'soon' is 'never'

I have at least one processor that will hopefully have some sort of EFT to US accounts , unfortunately since the system is not operational yet I don't have the actual fees.
