I know I'm not a newbie, but I'm at a loss to understand what the green bars next to my profile description above my avatar mean? :think2:
I notice some Rx members have more than 1 green bar. How are they acquired? :think2:

Again, I apologize for posting this inquiry in the Newbies Forum, but I must of been absent when the explanation was given before.
Thanks in advance to any kind Moderator who will respond. :toast:

That is the New RX Reputation System.

Right now it is being tested, but will be in place 100% soon...and Posters will earn Higher reputation bars as time goes on.

We will post more information when everything is in Place. (<)<

From what I understand the reputation status has nothing to do with longevity, how much you lose at the sponsored books, etc. etc. etc. it's earned from quality of posts, like helping out the website, and such.

A newbie can come out of the box being a total asset to the community and accumulate status faster than a 5 year veteran that posts "how come I can't get nookie on Halloween" type threads ad nauesum all the while not contributing a word in the sports forums.

You are 100% Right ^^^^^

and for Rodeo......I never said it was built on length of time. (<)<

This has VERY LITTLE to do with length of time, and NOTHING to do with how much you spend, if you have a sponsored page, what books you have and what not. While post count and tenure is taken into account, the 99% basis here is based on the quality and usefulness of your posts. At the same time, it is also a resource to put people in line with other systems we have in place.

Feel free to PM me or any of the other mods if you have any issues.

how do i actually vote for someone's post? the only thing i see is a little asterisk under my own avatar, but obviously the RX doesn't want soonerdawg voting for himself....i see no way that i can vote on a post or thread that someone starts

Sooner, the asterisk under your name is a way to see who voted for that specific post, however, do you see an asterisk under the other names in this thread? It should be labeled as 'reputation,' and if you do not see it, please let me know so I can fix it. If you find a post useful, click on the asterisk and give them a positive (I approve) or negative (I disapprove) remark. You *should* be able to view who repped you in the USER CP page.
