I know how you and I have talked about middiling/siding around the 3 in the NFL and how profitable it is. How have you done this year with it. Seemed like nothing was happening early in the year with games falling on the 3.

Horrible, compared to other years. Too many games like Dallas/Pitt(fluke) last week, that should have landed on three. Maybe this is the week. Chicago was a good start.

I generally look for the 2 or 3 best underdogs that I like and I bet on those games

Yeah I more or less put them to the side for the year. Have done a lot better since I gave it up. Nothing like nailing one though but just seems like most are few and far between this season. good lcuk the rest of the way with them. They do seem to come in spurts.

Generally, my plays would be the 3 highest dogs that I like to cover each week. In years past, that was good to me. Basketball has actually been saving me lately. The last 4 weeks in football have been REALLY BAD.



Do check out my picks in the pick 4 contest throughout the whole season. You might just find 1 or 2 games out of 60 where I took a favorite of over 7 points and maybe 2-3 games where I took a favorite from 4-7. From that %, you can see where I might say never on occassion

I quit playing the bad teams for the most part. They seem worse this year than in past seasons. Only teams playing hard and have no problem backing is SF and KC.

Lions - winless, but some line value because they are trying to win first game, playing hard but get overmatched.
Oakland - Zero offense. Bet the under or pass.
Cincy - Just a mess, coach leaving probably, stay away.
Cleveland - See Cincy.
Rams - They do have SJax back, too little too late.
Seattle - Too many injuries, coach leaving.
Jax - OL injuries killed them. bad pass D.
KC - Middle of turning over the roster. Have to pick the spots to back them. Today may be one of those days.
SF - Singletary has brought an attitude change. Players competing for jobs, plus Singletary wants the HC job. They are trying.
