Wil - I hate Kerry, and that's a fact - he's opened up some old wounds that were deeply buried, and I resent hiom for bringing those old memories back - but I hope you know that I'm just poking fun at you!

You react so well to my digs that they prompt more and more - I apologize - I don't mean to get personnaly insulting - I deal with Vietnam by joking about it - others are of a more serious bent !

By the way, Wil, you never said whether you committed attrocities while you were in Vietnam?
Did You?
Did you raze villages in a manner reminiscent of Jengis Khan?
Did you do all of those terrible things?

Did I do those things - frankly no, but we both know that kind of thing went on all the time. Sounds to me like you have a case of selective memory. Countless atrocities were carried out by both sides. Mi Lai happened to get most of the ink but just look at the Air Force and the B-52 bombings in North Vietnam and Cambodia among many other things.

Wil - I heartily disagree with you - I never performed any attrocities, nor did I ever see any attrocities performed, nor did I know anyone who performed any attrocities - and at one time I travelled all over the country.

My Lai was performed by soldiers, stopped by soldiers and reported by soldiers when the officers stone walled it.

Now, in my opinion, most Lieutenants were capable of attrocities, but most of them were too lazy to do them!

Right that is the company line but like Kerry said in 1971 in a statement to the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Kerry said the war crimes committed by US soldiers in Southeast Asia "were not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command." True whether you want to believe it or not. My Lai is a byword for callous mass murder while the Bach Mai hospital and Kham Thien street bombings, though less well-known outside Viet Nam, were no less brutal for their manner of execution. As if to show they were not merely capable of ‘impersonal’ atrocities (by dropping bombs), the Americans helped run the notorious Con Dao prison with its ‘tiger cages’. In each of these 3m by 1.5m cages, they held five Vietnamese prisoners. Ad nauseam.

Hey Wil - you are such a truth twister - you'll reach for anything to spin Kerry's lies.

Kerry didn't mention prisoner abuse in his diatribe to the Congress - he was very specific in his accusations - he made a ton of accusations that the alleged attrocities were committed every day by every soldier in Vietnam! Kerry said "they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam"

As far as I'm concerned, a few prisoners being abused is not an attrocity but was just an abuse, and it's NOT what Kerry accused the troops of - and please remember what the NRV's were doing to our guys that they held prisoner.

During the 8 year period that the war was fought, every incident that smacked of any kind of attrocity was well documented and presented to the American people on the nightly news - nothing was overlooked and nothing could be hidden - and you've just gone over the littany of offenses that the US committed during that 8 year period - EIGHT YEARS - nearly 60,000 American deaths - and that's all you can come up with!

Again - Kerry is a liar - and you make yourself an accomplice to his lies by supporting them! As a Vietnam Vet you should be ashamed of yourself!

Bump!

Hey, Wil - I see that you continue to post lies, but won't provide an honest answer to an honest reply that refutes your bullshiit

You sir, are a Liberal and a Liar! I hold you in contempt!

Ben - go pick your nose - you're a clueless loser - if mommy and daddy weren't feeding you you'd starve to death!

Wil - I'd rather be a sheep - the shepherd takes care of them! I'm in worse shape - I commute to Boston! Talk about a horror show! The things I do for money!

As far as being a stone cold loser - well, I could have take a place at the government trough as you did - But I decided instead to suck it in, and get a real job with a real paycheck - if it isn't taxed out of existence!

Hey Wil, I understand that "Stolen Honor" will lower the boom on your boy! Good riddance to bad trash!

You still haven't answered my question from the previous post - because the truth is that attrocities weren't as wide spread as Kerry and his bunch of lying misfits made it up!

Blight you are such an idiot, I have never collected an unearned penny from the government in any way in my life. I used the VA hospital a few times if that is what you mean by government trough. I won't apologise for getting medical help when I needed it over 15 years ago - so what, plenty of Vets use the VA for help. I guess you are too good for that though, probably figure you might get some real people dirt on your "Funds Manger" suit. Have a nice commute tomorrow.

As far as the War goes I am not going to re-fight it here for your sake. You know as well as anyone what kind of brutal tactics Nixon used against an innocent people in the entire region. Kerry was right on all counts to speak out against a needless war. He showed a courage that Bush can only dream about posessing.
