I saw that Starlin Castro is on a path to get 3,000 hits which blew my mind. I guess the guy did come into the league at a young age so it shouldn't be a huge surprise.

yeah they talked about it after he made 250k at the 3M in Minneapolis and then again when he withdrew from PGA due to injury. I don't remember if that 250k put him over 1M for the year or not...if it did then he's 21 straight seasons and only won 3x in his career
