Prukop is skilled, but it's only his 3rd game in the system. He's still learning and yesterday, in a hostile environment, he loses his stud RB. They had to change the game plan on the fly. Oregon is, as always, going to be very dangerous because that O is only going to get better....also NU secondary is pretty athletic.
With respect to Prukop...He DOES NOT have the arm strength to push the ball downfield. With the speed that Oregon has at WR, he missed some wide open guys by underthrowing them. Again, that's only the second game that I've seen the kid play, but from a TV screen miles away, it seems like he's lacking arm talent. It's even obvious when he's on the move as well in that he can't just flick the ball on a line downfield.

Indeed. He under threw what could have been the go ahead td. Man, with that speed, just chuck it.

Great week Conan and West Coast Cappers here, wish I could have contributed positively last week, hopefully I didn't sway anybody onto Tex.
I'm typically not one to do related scores, but the more I see what Mich St is doing to ND, the more I like CAL at home vs Texas. ML CAL (+275) small play
WinOne!!
Seems like the game went how I thought except for those big plays that Cal's db's made and Tex's complete inability to stop the pass. I figured they would gamble more and come up with some sacks and int's. Great call by WinOne pointing out that the Tex coaching staff wasn't ready to win this one. I also was less confident in Tex when I saw MichSt (Im not high on msu this yr) undress ND earlier in the day.

Did Oregon really call a read option run on fourth and 19 yesterday or was I just really drunk?
Yup thats what I saw too, unbelievable ! Just as bad as those BigTen refs. Oregon got hosed on every close call it seemed.

The refs even called back a fumble recovery because of an illegal procedure call when a Neb. lineman flinched a quarter second before the ball was snapped, thus cancelling the play. Never seen that happen before. The flag was even late.

Great calls this week, Conan. Cal was the only play that had me fooled. I just can't put any money on that defense or lack of it. Keep it going!!
