The Pats are notorious in fantasy circles for tailoring their backfield game plans to the opponent. It now seems as if McDaniels will be going even more it with the passing game. The emergence of Stevan Ridley as a consistent ground threat also reduces the need for quick strikes to Welker in an effort to sustain drives.

Despite the return of Aaron Hernandez, the Boston Globe believes Wes Welker is locked back into a full-time and featured role in New England's offense.

Welker opened the season playing behind Julian Edelman, but during Hernandez's absence simply made himself too difficult to take off the field. Lighting up Seattle for 10 catches, 138 yards, and a touchdown, Welker played 77-of-87 snaps (88.5 percent). With Hernandez back healthy, look for Deion Branch and Daniel Fells to be weeded out of the offense moving forward.

Wes Welker (ankle) and Julian Edelman (hand) are listed as questionable for Week 7 against the Jets.

The questionable designation is just semantics for Welker, who was listed as "questionable" before dismantling the Seahawks for 10 catches and 138 yards last Sunday. He's Rotoworld's No. 7 receiver for Week 7. Edelman was listed as questionable against Seattle before ultimately sitting out. He remains week-to-week.
