Vancouver vs Portland
- surprised at the big move toward under in this one. First off Cascadia Cup matches are usually entertaining other than last year's Vancouver team which played a gruesome brand of football. This year they are creating a lot of opportunities and not trying to settle for 1-0 wins or 1-1 draws like in 2012. Portland totally different team with the new coach who brought his high-pressure, possession 4-3-3 from Akron and they are really starting to bang out the shots. The Timbers lead the MLS in shots per game, shots on goal per game, and are top 5 in total shot attempts, and 2nd in goals while Vancouver are 5th in shots on goal, and top 10 in shots attempted and goals scored. Both are in the top 5 in pass completion % in opponents half which is a really important stat for creating opportunities and both are in bottom 10 in saves which means they allow shots on their net. Whitecaps have scored in all 6 of their home games this year and conceded in 4/5 MLS home games while the Timbers have both scored and conceded in every road match. Fully expect both to score making the over 2.25 the recommended bet.

Houston vs Revs
- No excuses for Houston tonight. Last two losses they came back to win the next match and Barnes is fit again giving them basically an ideal XI. They won't be home again for over a month so are fully focused on getting these 3 points with a tough road stretch coming. Revs will bunker in and hit and hope but they've left Sene, Bengston, and Agudelo on the bench so unless Nguyen can do something on his own they aren't scoring tonight.

taking Bologna HT at evens...they are all over Genoa who look to be very happy to end the season not relegated. Bologna with 17 (!!!) first half shots and either Kone or Gilardino will finally score for the winner

Bologna 2H 1u to win 1u

flipped through the old epl scores to find that teams relegated prior to the final week of season are 1-5-12 in the last match of the year with only burnley winning final match when already down....this goes back 11 years
