Getting ready for the NFL weekend I like to begin working on Wednesday and just take a look at three things, soft spots in the schedule, questionable lines, and public plays. I then find these plays and dig a bit deeper during the week.

Soft spots in the schedule:

KC hits one this week as the come off a huge win against Denver and have to hit the road to play in Green Bay before running into Oakland. Possible Play: Green Bay

Colts come off a very big win over Tampa and have to play a tough defense in Carolina, which could have a physical impact on the colts with a short week. Possible Play: Panthers

Questionable lines:

Miami just three points over Jacksonville? Watch them line up for the fish here. Possible Play: Jacksonville

Buffalo just 2.5 over the winless Jets? Have to keep an eye on this one as well to see how the Bills offense clicks without Moulds. Possible Play on the Jets

Public plays

Miami is going to be a big play as noted above and early numbers show an 83% following

Ravens are not far behind at 82% over the hapless Cardinals

Can Tampa rebound many think so as the are at 72% to beat the Redskins.

These numbers will change and so will possible selections.

Back with more as the week rolls along.

Well after the week got closer some plays moved up big and others fell off the radar....

Arizona downgraded to a pass...still think they have a good shot of winning outright but a good defense can destroy this team, I am not taking that chance.

Jacksonville still a play. It is now cemented in that Leftwich is the guy and I think this team will come around and get some big wins starting this week. Jimmy Smith coming back to this line up was huge for this team. Jax is a ML play.

Panthers also downgraded to a smaller play. Like the numbrs in this one and the Colts should be beat up, but that Colt offense can click when it wants to and I just don't trust thePanther offense.

Ditto with the redskins all the trash talking has got me off the skins thinking they may have rattled the wrong cage.

Packers still a play, this ime of year Lambeau is nuts and KC is looking at Oakland and will not be ready to go here.

Give me the Jets, yes I know they are very bad but a team in divison getting points is always a nice angle. Moulds being out is huge for this team and a loss by Buffalo will have the city up in arms.

Add ons:
Philly over Dallas. Sold on the cowboys yet and the new regime? Not me not against this defense and this club. Pressure on the QB is the key to beating a Parcells offense and the Eagles will bring.

Will be around for halftimes and the sunday night game!
