Give me an example of what you are talking about.
Thanks
NEWPORT said:JMAN knows what I am talking about. Last year, he calculated the vig as well because of pushes. So if my record was 8-7-1 lets say, then my real number would be + .30 Where some one with an 8-8 record, their number would actually be -.80. The ties do not cost you vig, but they do not count on the plus side also. ANother words Fish, your record is too look JUST LIKE A BANKROLL as if you were putting 10 dollars on each game,
The standings that are posted should from this point forward be posted as a bankroll amount, based on your record as if you were betting the same 10 dollars on each play. This was done last year at about week 8, because it does make a difference on the EXACT standings. The top winners are the winners with the highest bankroll counting vig on losses....JUST LIKE IN VEGAS!!
Again this is how it was calcualted last year!! Hope this helps, NEWPORT

You should not be looking at it as a dispute!! You asked for an example and I gave you one. You do unerstand the part I wrote about it looking like a BANKROLL right?? Well that is all. From now on JMAN needs to post the record as a bankroll record. This will properly calculate wins and losses in a casino format. Therefore there will be less issue on tiebreakers, and 8-7-1 is better than 8-8
but 9-7-2 is the winner versus a 10-8
+1.3 on a 9-7-2 record versus a +1.2 on a 10-8
No offense to our members of the contest, but some might not see it that way.....BUT THAT IS THE WAY IT IS.. COme on FISH you know I am as SHARP as they come when it comes to the numbers!!! LOL
I have sent JMAN the messages, he has recieved them!!
