Florida/ Tenn.- under 48. This Florida defense is just soooo good. I'm not sure how Tenn. will sustain drives. With Treon Harris suspended, the Gators might keep their offensive game plan simple and fall back on great defensive play and lots of running. The Vols defense is also improved this year. The weather could also play a factor here as it's supposed to rain/ possible thunderstorms at game time.

Minnesota/ Ohio- under 47. Didn't post last week, but had Minnesota/Kent -under- big last week. This is the Gophers best D in many years, while their offense looks underwhelming since David Cobb is no longer there. Plodding would be the right word. Time sucking, poor OL play and inexperienced receivers- well, you get the picture. To beat Ohio, they'll need their D to play big (and they have). Ohio also has a veteran D, holding Marshall to 10 points. Both teams like to run, and that means the clock will run...

Last two plays, maybe:

Washington ML. Waited too long on this. Either way, I like what Chris Petersen has done with this young Husky team. He knows how to develop QBs and his freshman Jake Browning looks to be another very good one. He's not a runner but moves well in the pocket to extend plays, and still keeps his accuracy. But I also think UW has the edge here in defense and in that Cal travels 2 weeks in a row. UW looks to be improving quickly week by week, and I think will look forward to the challenge of playing vs. Goff.

Auburn -2.5 Going here with Sean White, the new QB. Sometimes a change like that inspires a team to play up, sometimes a team plays up to help the new guy break in. White is a better passer than Johnson anyways. Auburn is in a must win at home. Besides, MSU is largely rebuilding too. They lost about 2/3 of their starters from last year and don't have the talent pool that Auburn does.

Absolute last play: (or not)

Marhsall/ Kent- under 47. Kent has no playmakers, but a veteran, decent defense. Marshall also loses their key guys on offense(especially Cato), but returns a tough, underrated defense. Marshall's O playing conservative with new QB. Back to Kent- The QB, Reardon, is okay, but passes short and safe- and has no one to break one long.
