WIN cannot score. Period. 38 points all year. EDM allowed basically nothing to OTT, nothing to WIN, and if it weren't for 2 long kick returns by Landry last week, they let MON do very little. How can WIN score? Martin will still be at QB this week, and you know EDM will "TEE" off on him. They have to be mad about losing last week at MON, and will take it out on this WIN team. The only edge for WIN is at RB with Roberts, but if EDM controls him, WIN is dead. EDM scored more points in one game (vs. OTT) this year than WIN has in all 3 of their games combined. WIN defense has been OK in the two home games, but got killed at SAS in the opener. EDM wins easily, but I agree with you on the total under. Don't understand the move unless people just think EDM will score 45. Even that may not get it over with WIN's offense.
I can't describe exactly why I feel this way... call it hunch... but I think we're in for a bit of a surprise from the Bombers this week... Remember, they were damn damn close to winning last week, and perhaps they will be able to keep this one closer than the experts and linesmaker thinks... I wasn't touching this game at 14 either way, but at 19.5 or 20 depending on where one looks, this is VERY inviting for me.
10-5 EDM with about 9 in the 4th in this Winnipeg/Edmonton game, not exactly too worried at the moment.
22-1 BC right now though, all i can hope for is a big Toronto comeback to get more points on the board, I've pretty much already accepted their loss.
