Cal opened season walloping a brutal N Texas club in Texas 58-21
then they played a decent Auburn team to the wire ...in Cal ...losing 10-14
now they play FCS Idaho ... who just beat yet another brutal team in Nevada ... 33-6
In 2022 ... Idaho played back to back games vs FBS Schools ... not an easy task ... especially because both were on the road
and long travel to Midwest

9/10/22 at Ind .... Idaho lost 22-35
this may be an ok spot for Idaho here ....tough call because Cal ...imo ...is very improved ty

team. They know Indiana, the in-state rival of Purdue, the program
they came from. Their Purdue offenses scored 30 to 44 points against
the Hoosiers five times in a row. Let’s see how badly they can screw
up the Louisville defense, which was barely there vs. Georgia Tech
despite the win........................Ind held Osu to 23 pts though ? ...hmmmmm

ASU OL is a MASH unit. That's the primary problem. Isaia Glass -- DNP injury Ben Coleman -- DNP injury Cade Briggs -- DNP injury Aaron Frost -- DNP (not fully back from ACL) Emmit Bohle -- Done on first drive Joey Ramos -- Played with hand in a club. How many offenses are going to be good with five of their top eight OL out or compromised? How many in their first year with a new coach? People want to talk about QB play but ASU lost because its OL is crippled, its tight ends aren't great interior blockers, its top RBs need better blocking since they're not very elusive athletes, it dropped a cruical pass that would have probably been a first down, and Oklahoma State's coaching played three safeties deep to close down any vertical passing. That's primarily not a QB problem and especially not a freshman QB problem.
