3-3 last week for a 6-5 ytd record.

The NFL has started out strange this year - even with the new focus on PI, and an expected increase in points per game, the opposite has happened - the average and median PPG has been 38 for the 32 games played - down from the historical average and median of 41 PPG.
Also
15% plus of all games end in a blowout where the winning team wins by 20 or more points. There hasn't been a blowout in the 32 games played.

WTF???? Thinking could go two ways on this;
Either it's a trend, and the games will bounce back to their historical average this week - maybe with a vengeance - so there'll be a lot of overs and blowouts.
Or it's an evolution of the game due to parity - and it's here to stay.

The question to ask is "What would the smart 'capper do with this information?"

Me? I'm going to punt!

This weeks picks:

Cleve +3 - two units
Cincy +3 - 1 unit
Detroit +6 (bowmans) - 1 unit
Tennessee -6 - 1 unit
Chicago +10.5 - 1/2 unit
Az +10 - 1/2 unit

Value plays?? I think the NY media is pushing it's favorites thisa week - and I think they're wrong:

one 3 team at 16 to 1, and 3 two team ML parlays at about 6 to one each - all for 1/2 unit
Cleve
Det
Cincy

One ML parlay for 1/4 unit at 25 to 1
Chi
Az

Good luck
