CFL record:
straight up :(3-1)
parlays/teasers: (1-1)

Calgary -3 - You may want to buy the half point here as it has risen to -3.5 in many places..Winnipeg looks to be a disaster this year as they've been terrible the first 2 games to start the season, and have some key injuries to top offensive players including their QB.. Calgary had a bye in week 1 and it showed last week as they had trouble getting things started 1st half vs a very good Toronto D. Second half was a different story as the Stampeders found their stride and looked to be in sync, but could not complete the comeback.. Calgary has a good offence led by two very good free agent signings in QB Henry Burris and WR Jermaine Copeland as well as three other very talented WR's in former NFL'ers KenYon Rambo and Martay Jenkins, along with Rookie of the year Nik Lewis. They also look to have a pretty solid Defence to compliment this offence, at -3 points, I will lay the small number on the road for 1 unit... goodluck..

Agreed with Peter here... Many threads seem to go unnoticed amongst a plethora of good capping, but you are an integral part of my selections as well VanFan...thanks for the help. So glad to see all of us off to such a great start this season. Here's to us all finding success for the length of the season:toast: . Keep up the good work.

Feel like it's a train that can't be stopped, everyone is doing well, congrats VanFan, Do you go to Lion games sometimes. Jason Clermont is actually one of my fav receivers in the league, big, strong, athletic receiver. They are really stacked this year especially if they can let Cutolo go, Let's have another profitable weekend:103631605 :toast:

thanks for the props guys,, it has been a good start for many of us here.. I'm laying off these 2 games tonight,, BC should win easily but I'm not crazy about laying 14 pts this early in the season.. As far as Edmonton/Montreal,, that is two of the league's best teams and to me it honestly seems like flipping a coin to pick the winner,, good luck for those of you guys playing it.. Sharky , I live in the Okanagan so about 4 hours away from Van, haven't gone to any games in the past couple years.. But one of my friends that was my roomie for 3 years at University of Saskatchewan is a starting O-lineman for the Lions (#59 Kelly Bates) so I'm gonna have to go visit and take in a game to watch him sometime this season

Vanc Fan, good call, as usual, passing those games. The consensus went 0-1-1 as BC could not put Ott away, and the other game turned out a push, no matter how you played it.

well that sucked,,, Toronto's stellar D got off to a bad start and Sask Riders were walking all over them the first half ... They made some good adjustments in the second half and held Saskatchewan to 4 points (Riders got a TD off a fumble return) It looked like my under was gonna be a push at 47,, then Toronto scores a late TD to ruin that and take the lead by 1 ,, if they make the 2 pt conversion then I win the cover -2.5 , but they fail,, so not only do I lose the cover I lose the total,,,, argghh... serves me right for betting against my Green Riders... Saskatchewan were missing 3 key guys due to injury and lost 2 or 3 more key ones last night,, a gutsy performance by them last night and probably deserved a better fate,, have to keep an eye on this in upcoming games..
