not a bad start all things considered,
3-3 +1.32
i don't know why I jump on games early, the line never moves the way I think it will. I'm one of the guys that just watches games and picks who I thinks is hot. But I missed NFL Primetime so I'm betting on some of these teams blindly, lol. Actually that show often doesn't paint a clear picture of how a game went down, heh. Streaks are worth something in the NFL. I expect a lot of teams to start out 2-0. I also expect to be shocked in at least one game this weekend, and surprised by more. What else is new.
Broncos -3. 1 unit
Kansas City shelacked San Diego in the first half on Sunday. Then the Chargers put up a fight in the second half. I lost interest, so I'm not sure how much that had to do with the Chargers finding some sort of rythm and dusting themselves off, or the Cheifs just started slacking off because it was too easy. I suspect it's something inbetween. Broncos spanked the bungles, the Snake threw 3 ints but Portis made up for it with a dominant performance. It's not a whole lot to ask for the Broncos to come into Sand Diego and beat them, but it's the AFC West and these games are often decided by a field goal. I don't think San Diego's inexperienced defense will have an answer to Denver's offense.
San Francisco +3 1 unit
O.K. so I jumped on this bet without thinking, and forgot about the cuncussion Warner got playing the Giants. Apparently bulger will be playing, so I expect a shoot-out here. Rams offensive line still looks weak, and the Niners came out strong so it's still a decent play. What the hell was Mike Martz thinking going for it on 4th down being down 2 scores, instead of kicking a field goal?! Boggles the mind.
Bills -2 1/2 1 unit
i don't really understand this line, shouldn't the Bills be favored by more than this? They crushed the Pats, who are no slouches. I suspect the Pats laid down a little bit, bitter at the way the oganisation treated Milloy. I know I'd think twice about playing hard for a team that fires their star players because they don't want to cough up the dough. Bottom line is how are the Jags going to keep up with the Bills offense? I don't see it happening.
Seahawks -4.5 1 unit
O.K. maybe it's time to get on the Sehawk bandwagon, I know I'm not alone here. Hassleback might just be the real deal, when he's throwing accurate passes and they're pounding you with Alexander it's a tough situation for a defense to be in. And they're playing Arizona... who looked decent in the preseason but that probably means nothing.
Dolphins -3 1 unit
O.K. what the hell happened? Either the Texans are a lot better than people aer giving them credit for, the Dolphins aren't as good as they've been hyped up to be, or the Dolphins just had a really slow start. Combination of all I suspect. The Dolphins are a far better team than the Jets with Testeverde at Q.B. They should win by 10.
Sep 9 5:32am 2 Team Teaser - Pending 150.00 to win 115.38
1. Football - Houston Texans - spread +15 (-110)
for the entire game held on Sep 14 at 12:00pm [pending]
2. Football - Houston Texans/New Orleans Saints - total Under 47½ (-110)
for the entire game held on Sep 14 at 12:00pm [pending]
O.K. the Texans beat the Dolphins, so how bad can they be? 15 points is huge. And Texan games don't seem to be high-scoring affairs that often. Saints struggled against the Seahawks, they might be pumped up for this game but I think maybe the Texans only lose by 10 or so.
