Quick observation of the ACC
VOR....I feel the same way. The best team didn't win the ACC. But that was a pretty fk'd up conference this year because of the terrible offense they play in that league.
Like I edited on my post though you can't knock them GS. Remember this team suffered a few key injuries and was still able to get in position to win the conference.
The ACC is is filled with parity this year GS as most teams are still a year or two away from attaining legit top 15 status. I actually disagree somewhat as I think N.C. State, UNC, and GTech are currently playing pretty good offense. N.C. State in particular is playing great offense as their young QB Wilson is starting to feel comfortable (they also have an underrated running game). Paul Johnson's option also had great success for most of the regular season (an understatement really). UNC lets not forget lost two key offensive weapons this year. One of them being their stud WR Tate for the entire year. When he, Nicks, and Yates were all healthy they were rolling on offense. They still had decent succes when Tate went out. Maryland at home had great games on offense as Bay is one of the most underrated talents in the country.
I actually have the ACC behind only the SEC and Big12 in terms of talent from top to bottom. I know Pac-10, Mountain West, and Big 10 peeps will respectively disagree and point at their elite teams but in
my mind top to bottom this is the 3rd best conference.
Bottom line and most importantly the future is truly promising with GTech, N.C. State, UM, FSU, Maryland, and BC being all on the rise. All have either young QB's, overrall young teams, or in GTech case Paul Johnson still acquiring the right pieces (did pretty darn good with the ones given haha).
Love when you stop by my friend. GL the rest of the way today.
