No I have not gone back and broken down the units and I am the first to admit that this was a bad (losing) week. As I've said from the beginning feel free to follow, fade or pass on my plays. I have my methods and am confident that in the long term it will continue to make me money. I've also advised all members to only wager what you can afford to lose and realize that anyone can have bad weeks. Don't worry, I won't have "extra huge" or "gigantic" plays like others on here may do if they are losing.

Appreciate the kind words rolltide, buckshotbookies, indy, sparticus and United. Don't worry I'm not going anywhere and will continue to post any plays I deem to be strong. My HUGE or MEDIUM or SMALL wager amounts are relative to me and my bankroll. As the wins have been going up I have been adjusting my wager size accordingly. Thus, I don't have any number of units won year to date but I can say it's been a very good NFL season thus far.
There are those here wagering 5 dollars a game to others betting 20k or higher and someone above was right that winning is the name of the game in the long term. I'm more excited about a poster that wins 10 in a row that wins 100 dollars than one that wins 1 game and posts about how they won $20k.
This is gambling and there will always be wins and unfortunately losses. This is NOT my full time job but I do use it as a way to supplement my income from being a full time physician. Good luck to all and as always only wager what you can truly afford to lose!

I actually think that the touts are not too worried/bothered by us small guys at therx. You have to keep in mind that only a very small percentage of players will come to a forum such as this. Also, the picks can be all over the place sometimes with seeming to be a 50/50 mix of winners and losers. Also, when we are wagering 110 to win 100 that inherent advantage is tough to beat (and that's without the big juice prop plays).

On to the real reason for this thread...the picks that are hopefully winners:
1. Baltimore at New Orleans
New Orleans has not been very good lately with 2 consecutive losses at home in the dome. The last time they lost 3 in a row at home was 2005. I know what this New Orleans team is capable of on primetime at home and I say just look at how this team destroyed Green Bay 44-23 a few weeks ago. With a win, this team will have sole possession of 1st place and they know the pressure is on and it's now or never time. New Orleans did look very flat last week against Cincinnati but I think Sean Payton has them fired up this week. 4 of the 6 losses were by 3 points or less so they have had some very tough losses.
Baltimore has lost 3 of their last 4 games on the road. Yes, they too are fighting to keep up in their division and are coming off a bye but I feel strongly here that New Orleans is the play. Flacco has not been impressive and he has thrown 5 TDs and 5 interceptions in the last 4 games.
Taking New Orleans minus 3 for a HUGE wager
2. New York Jets/Buffalo (in Detroit)
New York does not do well when they travel away from home. Yes, this is a neutral site game in Detroit but the Jets are winless (0-4) away from home. I do not think the Jets are a very good team and when these teams played 4 weeks ago in NY, the Bills won by 20 points. Yes Buffalo was unable to practice as much as they wanted to but they had a chance to rest their team as they have not played in 11 days. I think they will use this past week as motivation to rally the team and come out playing hard. I feel the Buffalo defense is able to shut down the Jets while Orton is able to do play mistake free and not make many costly errors. Having Fred Jackson back will be a boost for Buffalo and I think Sammy Watkins has a great game.
Thus my wager is Buffalo minus 3 for a HUGE wager.
