many people say there is chaos right now in the german team, but i dont think so.
What happened was the after last game coach völler went crazy and accused the media of being too critical with german team.it was really an amazing and unbelievableoutburst he had on tv, but on the other hand i think he is right. it's atypicall german thing to be over critical. Völler stepped right in front of his team and like hoeness said, the should have strengthened his position within the team.
this team will respond, doesnt matter who will play, with a great game.
they are playing at home, and especially in dortmund, we have a history in playing great games (like the 4-0 in deciding qualifier for WC against ukraine).
as a big factor here i see the homeadvantage. germany had many bad performances in this qualifying so far, but mainly away. also in friendly games like against italy at home they played great.
scotland on the other hand is always a dangerous team, like all teams from scandinavia or britain, cause they are physically able to play anybody and so could put a big fight on.
But in away games i dont like the scots. they need the home atmosphere to really believe in their chance.
so as a summary, germany in must win situation + at home+ at dortmund + great situation psychologically for team to show something after völler's interview + scotts in away game.
