2-2 yesterday. I had gotten Miss State at 13 early in the day and was waiting to possibly buy them back in an attempt to middle. I decided not to (which was obviously the wrong move as it ended up landing right on 14). This is why I added it as a play late in the day.

Anyway, I will be back later on with today's plays.

just wondering, i saw a monday post where you said you took setan hall, and middle tenn st.

just wondering why those weren't with your updated totals.

i guess monday was practice, and tuesday was the first day of real capping.

best of luck

Middle Tennessee State was a winner for me, so, if it makes you happy, I would gladly update my record to 3-3.

I hope he's right also, but, it's not fair for you to say that. He didn't force you to play three g's on the game. That being said, I hope he's right, however, if he isn't we will move on, as he's right more often than he's wrong.

JP:jcambert sticking up for Kodiak!
Please be nice Jc(Kodiak, I mean jcambert attacking Stewie aka Make$$$)

I've been a big viewer and use many posters picks for my own, I get a big kick out of guys like Make$$$, and Richass, and even Kodiak who probably starts most of the drama here at the prescription.
I find it very funny that Kodiak is now on vacation and jcambert is posting all of a sudden.
1. No doubt that Stewie is make$$, but who gave him the idea, Ghostiak! Always seems to come to Kodiaks aid, as stated above!
2. As shown above he's the first person to jump on Stewie, like Kodiak would.
3. Loves to start the drama about who is the best poster because he isn't!

So I'm sure I'm not the only viewer here that thinks so, so welcome back Kodiak, aka jcambert, or who else you post as, grow up and get a life!

Don't ask me to post either, cause I don't just take picks from quality posters! Bye Bye Kodiak!

That's hilarious. Make$$$ with yet another ghost (first post), accusing me of being Kodiak's ghost. First off, let me tell you that I am a big believer in NOT using those 5 unit systems, etc. etc. etc. As 90% of my games are for the same amount, with a rare 1.5 unit and an even rarer 2 unit play sprinkled in once in a while.

This is precisely the type of crap I was talking about when I said that if I started getting crap, I would stop, and, if it continues, I will. Not a threat, as I know that not too many people here care very much, but, I am NOT going to deal with this crap on an almost daily basis.

I would encourage a moderator to check IP's.

I'm a big believer in aggresive line shopping. It adds a bare minimum of 20-30 units per year to my bottom line. By the way, Miss State was available at 13.5 even late in the day at Skybook, and, Middle Tennessee State was available at 17.5 at the same place. Those are two perfect examples of what I'm talking about. SEveral people on here were able to get those lines, so please back off.

I agree. Not a good bet at that number. Perfect example of why i believe in aggresive line shopping. Getting an extra half point can mean alot of money on a yearly basis. Same with that extra five cents in baseball or hockey.

Think about this for a second. At an average of 2000 plays per year and a winning percentage of 55%, you are talking about 1100-900 +110 units. If, of those 900 plays, 50 had fallen right on or within a half point or point of the number, that would mean a difference of at least 50 units (assuming that the loss had been a push), or 100+ units (if the loss had been a win). It's very important to shop aggresively for the best possible number.

Just ask the people that had MIss. State last night.

just asked a question.

wanted to know who/or what you got the lines at.

pretty defensive.relax

and as far as backing off, you got some nerve saying that to me.

still waiting for a "I'm sorry truely, i guess you can post a above .500 record, i guess i was wrong. Even though it isn't 63% like you said, you still have a couple weeks before the big dance. i wish you lots of luck." jc

no that is what i'm talking about.

after reading all the mails, i guess i would have better odds of seeing jesus than an I'm sorry, i was wrong.

leaving on a friendly note.

wish you luck, would never want any one lose.

Funny how you manage to get Mississippi State at 13 when you posted you were making the selection at 6:30pm -- a time when 13 wasn't available ANYWHERE. 14 or 14.5 was the line at every major out at that point, so to claim the play was anything better than a push is being deceptive.

1-2-1 is what I put you at yesterday.

Yeah, that 1 point middle with one push tail is something that all "professional gamblers" jump on.

quote:
As 90% of my games are for the same amount

Another sure sign that you aren't a professional gambler. Professional gamblers look for VALUE -- to assume that every bet you make has the same amount of value is a joke. If my ratings show the line should be Team X +3 and Team X is +6, the size of my wager is completely different than if Team X is +10.

General, can you please keep Sound of Silence out of my threads? He's really starting to upset me.

Hey, SOS, my record yesterday was 2-2 and, if you don't like that...well, too bad.

By the way, SOS, if you read my post, you will see that I chose not to try to middle for that reason. I thought that I might get at least a 2.5 to 3 point middle opportunity and didn't, so I let the play ride, of course I'm sure you read that.

Oh, and Miss. State was at 14 late in the day, when I posted, at Skybook, and with the half point, you could have gotten 13.5.

As for a professional gambler's philosophy on money management...pray tell me...what on earth would you know about that?

Any further posts from you will be ignored as, frankly, you aren't a person that I feel I need to prove myself to.
